Everything your body is doing, in one place
Demi is named after Demeter, Greek goddess of the harvest. She governed growing things and the turning of seasons, cycles that repeat without ever repeating exactly. It seemed like the right name for an app about a body that works the same way.
For years I treated mine as a problem to be solved, and every app I downloaded agreed with me. They wanted me to eat less, weigh less, get smaller by Friday. Not one ever asked how I had slept, or where I was in my cycle, or why the same meal felt easy one week and impossible the next.
Here is what I believe instead. What you eat, how you sleep, how you feel, and where you are in your cycle are not four separate stories. They are one story, and it is hard to read when it is scattered across four apps that never speak to each other.
Demi connects them.
It is not a calorie counter, a period tracker, or a fitness app. It is a place to notice your own patterns without anyone grading you on them. Nothing keeps score, nothing punishes a missed day, and no number turns red when you go over it.
It is for every woman. Diagnosis or not, tracking everything or almost nothing, you are using it correctly.
Whether you are in your twenties working it out or in your forties finally paying attention, your body has always been trying to tell you something. Demi helps you listen.
